Refund Policy

“I can’t get the band to work for me.”

We want you to be happy with your Brauxiliary Band! That being said we are aware that there is a learning curve, so before talk of returning we ask that you allow us to walk you through. We will ask for pics and work with you to get you up and pumping with your band.

“My band is defective.”

Oh no! Send us an email with a pic of the damage at support@brauxiliary.com. We’ll get it taken care of.

“I just want a refund.”

Ok. If we can verify your purchase, you are requesting a return within 30 days, your band is in the original packaging we can give you a refund. Here’s the not so small print. We’ll need you to contact us to send it back, and you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Also, our shipping costs are non-refundable. That means when you receive your refund, the cost of the original shipping will be deducted from your refund.  Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Then your refund will be processed (less the shipping we paid) and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 3 business days (then the processing folks at your bank get their time too).

“Wait…I pay to ship it back AND you don’t refund what it cost to ship it to me? That sucks! I’d lose almost $6!”

Yeah…BUT your sacrifice will allow us to donate your slightly used band to a pumping mom participating in the federal government’s Women, Infant, and Children’s program. These are lower income mamas who may not have access to hands free pumping options, so actually you aren’t losing money. You’re gaining sainthood.

“I did all that and I still haven’t received my refund.”

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your banking institution. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
